Fashionable Peasants

In the last post, we saw some images from the D&G Spring-Summer 2011 collection. Since they're too good to leave alone, I'm posting some more images from the runway backstage...









 
 
However, peasant wraps have been surfacing time and again in fashion collections. See those from Anna Sui's Fall-Winter 2005 collection...

I'm currently browsing through a lot of past collections. It's a hard job, but someone has to do it. :)

    I really like this style, in my country poor women wear foulard every day because it is easier then combing their hair. This picture is a formal way to wear the reard tie as you call it.This is the way they wear it, and i am sure they will be pride seeing yong & beatifull women wearing what we communly called (mouchwa from the frenc word mouchoire) in our language.
    I am really happy to see this blog after seeing all of the style you put in this page.
    Congratulation for this good job, i really enjoy it
