Long time, no post... But no worries, I'm still here.
Anyone remember Far from Heaven, the 2002 Todd Haynes movie with a stunningly beautiful Julianne Moore?

It was one great period piece, made to look like it had been actually made in the 1950s, and Julianne Moore in a Kelly headscarf was a great sight.

Haynes later directed the TV miniseries Mildred Pierce, starring Kate Winslet.

Being another period piece, Kate got to wear a nice Classic. This scene also got Kate her Scarf Lady award on the site.

The latest period piece from Haynes is Carol, a movie based on Patricia Highsmith's novel The Price of Salt, also sometimes titled Salt. It stars Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. From what I have seen so far, we'll probably see some nice headscarf scenes.

This is a promotional image, showing Cate in a Kelly wrap on a convertible.

Cate in a Kelly again, on the set.

Those images are from a video of the shooting in Cincinnati, which seems tied to the "Christmas Tree shopping scene" seen in this clip.

"Carol" is due out in December 2015. I for one am looking forward to it.
